A full life
In any given week, you can expect to find craft and artistic activities, plays, dances, gatherings and musical events happening throughout our communities. It all makes for a very rich cultural and social life, in which everyone has their own essential part to play. As practising Christian communities, our celebrations of the Christian festivals also give us huge sense of meaning, belonging and appreciation of one another. However, everyone is completely free to observe their own religion, or none, as they choose.
Achievement and sharing
There's always something more to learn in life, and through our own and other local adult education programmes, we have opportunities to study everything from biodynamic agriculture (an enhanced form of organic farming) to cookery and food hygiene. We look forward to our holidays, too, which may include visits or trips away with relatives, or taking a break with small group of friends. Afterwards, experiences are shared and photographs passed round for all to see.
Lifelong journeys
In Camphill, activities needn't stop at certain age. Older people contribute an enormous amount to our communities. As each of us grows older, we continue to follow the rhythms of life and the paths that best suit us, surrounded by friends and companions.
