Newton Dee

Producing crafts and tending our livestock and 180 acres provides satisfying work for many of us in Newton Dee. Our village in the lovely Dee valley on the western fringes of Aberdeen provides a sheltered environment for some 100 people with special needs as well as access to the social, cultural and economic life all around us. Friends, neighbours and visitors from near and far are drawn to our Café, Gift Shop, Bakery and Store which supply a wide range of organic, wholefood and environmentally-friendly products. Newton Dee also hosts the offices of Camphill Architects where many Camphill buildings are designed. If, like us, you enjoy the pleasures of walks and picnics you’ll love the glorious countryside of Royal Deeside on our doorstep.

We are six miles west of Aberdeen city centre on the A93. Our open times are: Café and Gift Shop: Tuesday to Saturday 10.00-16.45. Newton Dee Store: Monday 12.00-17.00 and Tuesday to Saturday 10.00-17.00. Bakery Shop: Monday to Friday 09.00-12.00 and 14.00-17.00.
